This movie scene had everything: birthday hats, vintage vibe and a bear with a gun. I softened the edges and turned it into a children's book illustration

Love it! And I’m pretty sure it’s a fact that films are better when they’re on live telly. Nothing beats that feeling of being ready for bed, going to switch the telly off and seeing the opening titles of a classic.
Oh and some picture books do have horizontal layouts/page! So your scene could be a tad off center and you could have it continue one way or another and extend the perspective :)

I always find it challenging to draw people with their backs to us, but you have done it wonderfully here! Are you going to fully render the scene?
Funny you say that because I do too 😁 this came out surprisingly ok, and now I’m scared of „messing it up” in the rendering phase
